MEDICAL LEGAL REPORT AND MEDICO LEGO OFFICO

This seminar was held with the collaboration of Karachi Bar Association
(KBA) at Shuhda Punjab Hall KBA. This seminar was learning multi purpose
for criminal Justice System.
The main purpose of this seminar is to explain the complication of Cross
Examination, and proper duty of Medical Legal Officers and preparation of
Medical Legal Reports. It is in the Criminal Cases of assault or
accidental cases for which medical report is prepared by Medical Legal
Officer after examine the victim completely. On this report First
Information Report (FIR) has been launched. Sometime the medical report is
not according to the accused complaint to check whether the report has
been made accurately or not. The cross examination of this report and the
officer as well is held in the court in the presence of victims and
witnesses. This procedure is essential in the criminal justice system in
order to achieved justice.
The seminar was attended by above 100 young and energetic advocates. The
seminar was informative and interesting for every participant. The
refreshment were served at the end of seminar the seminar was successful
in its goals.
